POSITION SUMMARY
As an Automotive Service Technician for Big O Tires, you will perform service and installation activities associated with store products and services in an accurate and timely manner. This store is one of the busiest service departments for Big O Tires in the state of Arizona. We need a technician that is ready to go, jump in an flag a lot of hours!
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Repair and diagnose all makes and models of vehicles
- Drivability, brakes, shocks/struts, check engine lights, engine swap, alignments, flushes, various repairs
- Provide fast and friendly customer service
- Promote sales through explaining benefits of service and products to customers
- Maintain timely and professional communication with management, employees, vendors and customers
- Keep supervisor informed of any maintenance problems and/or any issues that need attention
- Safely operate customer vehicles with automatic and manual transmissions
- Maintain a clean environment, tools and equipment, using company guidelines
- Know and adhere to company policies and procedures
- Utilize and perform all duties on the company checklists to meet consistent adherence to policies, procedures and expectations
QUALIFICATIONS
- ASE Certification NOT required but helpful
- Reliable transportation to work
- 3+ years as an automotive technician in a professional shop doing repairs.
